Linguistics is the discipline that studies human language in all of its forms. This is a second-year optional module which introduces students to a core area in the discipline of Spanish linguistics: syntax (the study of word order in phrases, clauses, and sentences). In this module, you will be introduced to the descriptive approach to Spanish sentence structure, applied syntax, and current research on Spanish syntax. |
