Overview Overview
 

A beginning course in Spanish for students with little or no preparation in the Spanish language including oral expression and group work in class; written expression exercises; grammatical exercises; laboratory work; conversation classes. Additional work with self-access material is also recommended.
The module is aligned to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) for Languages at level A2.1 where the emphasis is on achieving a pre-intermediate level of communication in all four skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing). A student achieving an overall mark of 60% or higher in this module will have demonstrated linguistic competence commensurate with CEFR level A2.1.
