This module aims to introduce and analyse selected social policy case studies, namely drugs and criminal justice. This module aims to provide an analysis of key policy areas in relation to drugs and to criminal justice and their impacts, together with the challenges facing these policy cases and factors likely to influence future developments. This module is contextualised with contemporary perspectives on crime and policy making and drugs and policy making, respectively. This module is taught in two component parts with criminal justice forming the first part of the module and drugs policy forming the second part of the module.
