This module aims to provide an introduction to and analysis of selected social policy case studies, namely drugs and criminal justice. This module aims to provide an analysis of key policy areas in relation to drugs and to criminal and their impacts, together with the challenges facing these policy cases and factors likely to influence future developments. This module is contextualised with contemporary perspectives on crime and policy making and drugs and policy making, respectively. This module is taught in two component parts with criminal justice forming the first part of the module, and forming drugs and policy the second part of the module.
