Undertaking independent empirical research based on quantitative and/or qualitative methods; The quantitative and/or qualitative analysis of collected data; The presentation and critical analysis of those data in the context of a research report ; The presentation of those data and research findings in an oral presentation. Module Objective: To provide experience in conceptualising and conducting empirical research in psychology, and to establish the skills necessary to produce a report of that research presented according to current academic standards within psychology.
