Module Content: Social psychology and the built environment. Social relationships and prosocial behaviour. Theories of intergroup conflict. The dynamics of large scale social problems such as population growth, pollution and war. Group processes and decision making in legal and political contexts. Social psychology in the courtroom. Creating social contexts for a happy and healthy society. Psychological views on how to create a social utopia.

Module Objective: To explore advanced conceptual issues in social psychology and the application of social psychology to real-world problems.
