Content will vary depending on the specific placement in which the student is involved. However it is expected that this will include the following core components:Experiencing real-world applications of psychology and psychological principles in a professional setting; Making the connection between the academic study of psychology and its applications; Developing a range of professional and inter-personal skills required for working in an organisation; Reflecting on personal and professional development throughout the placement experience.

Objective: To expose students to real-world applications of psychological principles in an external setting so that they can better appreciate the link between psychological theory and practice in a range of organisational and community contexts .
