Module Objective: To introduce qualitative research methods used in psychology and to develop an understanding of how various qualitative approaches can be utilised in psychological research. Module Content: Theoretical and philosophical basis of qualitative enquiry in psychology. The role of qualitative research methods in psychology. Qualitative data elicitation methods. Approaches to qualitative data analysis. Using qualitative data analysis software to undertake qualitative analysis.
