Module Objective: To instruct students in objective, systematic, empirical investigations in psychology and the presentation and evaluation of research data.
Module Content: Outlining the role of the experimental research process in psychology; Undertaking supervised experiments in the areas of cognitive psychology and biopsychology; Producing written research reports on data derived from each experiment; Appreciating the role of practical considerations (ethics, data management etc.) in the conduct of psychological experiments;
