• Work productively in a technical role in an organisation and understand the importance of the multi-disciplinary relationships and interfaces.
• Perform as a team member with typical industrial deadline and reporting relationships to solve practical design problems in real life circumstances
• Apply learnt theory and principles within a practical project and understand issues surrounding plan adherence and performance in a practical situation
• Understand the ethical framework within which the organisation operates and apply general ethical principles to identified operational circumstances encountered in the IWE placement.
• Prepare a professional CV and undergo an interview for a professional post

• Experience-based learning. Work Placement for 6 months

• Module Graded (numeric value) or Ungraded (Pass/Not Passed): Ungraded
• Continuous Assessment detail(s): Assessed on work experience reports and industrial and academic tutor feedback. Students must pass to progress to 4th year
