• Ability to - Apply Design for Manufacture principles in designs processes.
• Ability to - Be familiar with advancements in automation and applications within a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to - Describe materials and processes used in the microfabrication of semi-conductors and other micro-mechanical devices.
• Ability to - Discuss some of the applications of micro-mechanical devices within the Automotive and Medical field.
• Ability to - Discuss some of the advanced materials now used in the surface treatment, preparation and finishing of specific products.
• Ability to - Use ‘Process Control and Process Optimisation’ methods and techniques, applied to a ‘high volume’ automation environment.
