• This module will introduce various methods and techniques which form the basis of geocomputational activity

• Current CS MSc practice: one week of full time lectures; one week of assessed assignments.

• Module Graded (numeric value) or Ungraded (Pass/Not Passed): Graded
• Continuous Assessment detail(s): Total Marks: 100 Two hour written examination at the end of Semester 1: 50 Continuous Assessment: 50

• Pass standard: 50%
• Could the result of this module be capped? No
• 50. A standard of 12.5 must be attained in the Continuous Assessment component. Otherwise the student may be deemed to have failed the module by extreme weakness.
• Penalties: Penalties will at the discretion of the lecturer and will be announced prior to the commencement of the module

• Three hour written examination. Continuous assessment mark is carried forward to the autumn
• University scheduled written examination (Autumn): 180 minutes
