Students will study the main musical developments since 1945, from the birth of Musique Concrète to today’s Computer Music. From a technical perspective, the module will teach the basic methods of sound generation and manipulation: oscillators, sampling, envelopes, looping, filters, delays and other effects processing. In complement to this, students will learn how to apply these elements to electronic music composition.
