• Exposure to a variety of presentation techniques and advanced topics by attendance at a regular departmental seminar series. Individual mentoring by the research supervisor or another appropriate member of staff in the preparation of a presentation outline. Delivery of a 45-minute presentation to the Department of Mathematical Physics followed by feedback from the mentor.

• Continuous Assessment detail(s): 30% for seminar attendance (student must attend at least 10 research seminars, not including other student research seminars at NUIM) and summary. 70% for 45-minute research presentation including discussion of presentation outline with the research supervisor.
