Each Lecture is followed by 2 hours laboratory work. Introduction to Unix. Intoduction to Python. Error, accuracy and stability. Finite differences. Integration. Ordinary Differential Equations: Euler method, Runge-Kutta methods. Root finding. Boundary value problems: shooting method.
On successful completion of the module, students should be able to:
