Innovation management is a key aspect of value creation in organisations. This module provides students with a set of tools and concepts that will enable them to participate in, and manage, value creation through innovation over the life of their career. This module presents key concepts, principles and the multidimensional nature of innovation management. Students are introduced to the frameworks, practices, processes, and tools that help companies to develop strategies for their innovation activities, to benefit from different sources of innovation, and to capture value from their innovation activities. The module is structured into four main themes:

1. Key Concepts and Systematisation of Innovation;
2. Innovation Strategy and Organising Innovation Processes;
3. Sources of Innovation; and
4. Selection of Innovation Projects and Capturing Value.
