Continuous Assessment detail(s): a) Exploration of relevant advanced content identified by the student and guided by faculty mentor, required and self-directed reading material (pre-requisite Actionable Insights through Research module and meetings with Faculty Mentor); b) Individual research in design of research question, literature review, research methods, data collection and analysis, write up of report; c) Working with client company and fellow student (where this is a paired BRP) negotiating the scope of the project, evolution of project implementation, communicating with client on collection of data, project process and recommendations. The Business Research Project assessment shall include: a written academic dissertation, a demonstrated client engagement process over the project, and a presentation and/or report that provides the client with a clear analysis and set of recommendations that can be implemented. The academic dissertation shall consist of a document with research question, literature review, research design, analysis, findings, and recommendations.

Penalties: Students are expected to attend all lectures, seminars, mentor meetings, and client company appointments. Where attendance falls below of 75%, a student is deemed to have failed a module or the Business Research Project. Standard School of Business penalties apply for late submission of assignments; 10% is deducted for each 24 hours (or part thereof) that an assignment, including the BRP, is submitted after the official submission deadline. Personal exceptional circumstances policy of the School of Business and University may apply.
