Students will learn about the behavioural underpinnings of the subject and how they relate to wider societal trends. The module will introduce the concept of sustainability and how this relates to processes of consumption and consumer society. Students will learn about the sustainability implications of consumption and how these can be addressed by different societal stakeholders, including business organisations, governments and their agencies, civil society organisations and consumers themselves.
