This module is designed for graduates who may not be familiar with foundational material in this subject area. A fundamental objective of the programme is to develop participants general understanding of the material and to move beyond it to:

a) Explore advanced content and
b) Understand the process and practice of applying their knowledge to specific contexts.

Learners will gain an understanding of human behaviour at the level of the workplace. Key theories from social psychology, sociology, and organisational studies will be employed to develop understandings of the complexity of relationship on organisational and individual performance. Learners will study the role of individual personality traits, attitudes and motivations as well as the fundamentals, dynamics and challenges of teamwork. Leadership styles, organisational culture and the broader role of the organisation in society will also be examined.
