During the past decades established companies have been increasingly challenged by entrepreneurial companies through the commercialisation of new technologies as well as through the design of new, innovative business models. Against this background, this module enables students to develop a clear understanding of the specific advantages and challenges entrepreneurial as well as incumbent companies face in their innovation activities. Moreover, students will elaborate on how entrepreneurial companies as well as incumbents can discover innovation opportunities, capture value based on their innovation activities, and become leaders of technological change.

The module is structured into four main themes:
1. Fundamentals of Innovation and Entrepreneurship
2. Leading Innovation and Organisational Change
3. Building Innovative and Entrepreneurial Organisations
4. Exploiting Innovation and Entrepreneurship
