This module will teach students basic web-based technologies such as html, CSS and JavaScript in order to create an interactive story. Students will be introduced to the impact of the digital apparatus on the standard narrative form and the resulting implications of this on human communication and creative expression. Students will critically examine contemporary examples of interactive storytelling and will then use a web based tool such as Twine to tell an interactive non-linear story.
