• Demonstrate a critical understanding of the importance of narrative/storytelling to mediated communication across genres, media platforms, and exemplary texts.
• Apply relevant theoretical perspectives and evidence through written analysis, and reflect on the quality and adequacy of this written work for the specified writing formats.
• Relate theoretical concepts and analytical frameworks covered to their own media production practice.
• Communicate effectively in academic contexts.

• 12 two hour lectures (24 hours of lecture) and 12 tutorial hours.

Students failing to meet this standard may be required to repeat the module.
