	This module aims to cover aspects of conflict resolution in education; from skills learning in the classroom through to organizational dispute resolution for schools. Students gain an understanding of the different models of conflict resolution in education and learn how to apply them. Experiential learning supports the development of knowledge and skills in working with and teaching children conflict positive attitudes and behaviour.

	Learning Outcomes
	On successful completion of the module, students should be able to: Demonstrate the integration of knowledge and practice of the conflict resolution in education. Critically review the literature on conflict intervention at third level education institutions. Teach conflict resolution skills to children. Deliver a peer mediation programme in an educational setting. Analyse a conflict in a school and create relevant intervention plan.
