This module equips students with the core concepts, methods and skills of restorative practice. Students new to the practice are provided with the opportunity to learn about restorative methodology and experienced practitioners have the opportunity to review and refresh their practice. The module addresses the philosophy of restorative practice and the range of contexts in which it can be applied. It also provides the methods and skills of process engagement, facilitation and follow-up. This module is delivered by staff of the Faculty of Social Science at the University of Ulster and includes a two day experiential visit to Belfast.
