• Analyse and discuss various approaches to the study of peace and conflict research, including civil and international conflicts.
• Critique research studies in the field of conflict and peace.
• Data Gathering and Analysis Critically analyse research data collection methods
• Demonstrate research capacity in designing a research proposal
• Critically analyse the literature in a field related to mediation & conflict intervention and write a literature review
• Demonstrate capacity in conducting independent research in the field of mediation & conflict intervention
• Demonstrate ability to analyse and write up a thesis from independently conducted research

• 42 hours formal presentations, intensive skills development and experiential learning plus independent learning of 158 hours.
