Module Objective The module aims to give postgraduate research students the opportunity to present their research, reflect on their research questions and on the challenges related to the completion of their thesis, and to discuss academic legal research in their own field. It also aims to enhance postgraduate research students’ critical analysis skills.
Module Content: This module consists of a series of one-day events (or one-week intensive module depending on the number of students enrolled) in which every student will present his/her own research, act as a discussant for another student and participate in an academic panel discussion. Students will be required to prepare a power point presentation on their own research and a written outline of the presentation. Students will be also required to read assigned material and contribute actively to the panel discussion.
