• Concisely present and critically discuss legal research
• Draw conclusions on the work and articulate the significance of the research in the wider context
• Identify a journal, with appropriate scope for publication
• Submit a manuscript to meet the formatting standard as set out be the publisher

• Module Graded (numeric value) or Ungraded (Pass/Not Passed): Ungraded
• Continuous Assessment detail(s): Completion and submission of an article to a peer-reviewed journal. Completion of a reflective journal tracking the development of the students’ paper of approximately 1500 words. This documentation will be submitted to the Departmental PG Research Committee.

• Could the result of this module be capped? No
• The module will be assessed on the basis of pass/not pass
• Penalties: Standard Maynooth University Department of Law penalties apply in instances of ethical violation, plagiarism, late submission of any coursework, and failure to attend class satisfactorily.
