This module will introduce students to the institutional frameworks and fundamental legal principles which govern the relationship between banks, their customers and third parties in the retail banking context. It will draw on both private commercial and public regulatory law including contract law, equity, property law and the statutory frameworks which govern the provision of financial services.

Any aspect of this module may be changed in any given academic year, subject to the discretion of the module lecturer.
