Overview Overview

This module introduces contemporary issues in the practice of legal interpretation, the rule of law, the relation of law and morals, the justification of punishment, and the nature of legal authority.

Any aspect of this module may be changed in any given academic year, subject to the discretion of the module lecturer.

You must take LW354 Jurisprudence and LW358 Jurisprudence II in order to get the exemption for the King’s Inns (Barrister course). You do not need these modules for the purposes of the Law Society (Solicitor course).
