This module aims to give students a thorough grounding in Irish property law, its origins and development. It includes an examination of the basic concepts of private ownership and the means by which interests in land can transfer. The will explore Irish property law in depth, as well as including an examination of specific areas of land law, will provide an introduction to landlord and tenant law and the law of succession.

Any aspect of this module may be changed in any given academic year, subject to the discretion of the module lecturer.
