This module provides an introduction to the operation of equitable remedies, in particular: injunctions, specific performance, rectification, rescission and estoppel. 	Learning Outcomes
	On successful completion of the module, students should be able to: Display an in-depth knowledge of the law of equitable remedies and an ability to construct or dissect a legal argument as to the appropriateness of utilising such a remedy; Comprehend the principles relating to the equitable remedies, explain their origin, operation in different circumstances, and distinguish an equitable from a legal remedy; Interpret a given factual matrix in light of equitable principles, summarise the main legal issues involved and construct an opinion as to the position in equity; Analyse, debate, and criticise the law in a particular area of equity and draw conclusions as to its effectiveness and fairness.
