This module provides students with a thorough grounding in international law. It undertakes an examination of the legal rules relating to public international law (the law governing relationships between states), private international law (sometimes referred to as conflict of laws), and examines the effects of globalisation on legal systems.

Any aspect of this module may be changed in any given academic year, subject to the discretion of the module lecturer.
