Overview Overview

This introductory module will teach students the basic skills required for the study of law. The course is applied in nature, and will cover topics such as reading cases and statutes, basic writing principles, professionalism and client communication skills, library and internet resources for researching law, methods for citing various legal sources, and exam-taking techniques, all of which are necessary to ensure success in the law program.

Any aspect of this module may be changed in any given academic year, subject to the discretion of the module lecturer.
