This module teaches students basic skills required for the study of law, and introduces key concepts in legal reasoning. The course is applied in nature, and will cover topics such as legal writing principles, professionalism and client communication skills, library and internet resources for researching law, methods for citing legal sources, and legal ethics, all of which are necessary to ensure success in the law programme.

Any aspect of this module may be changed in any given academic year, subject to the discretion of the module lecturer.
