In this module, students who have completed LS6, or who have studied Irish to a sufficient level before coming to university, will further develop their skills in the Irish language. They will proceed through grammatical study and graded reading towards proficiency in writing and speaking the language. The grammar, vocabulary and syntax of the language will be studied with a view to helping students realise a greater degree of competency. The content will consist of topics drawn from everyday life with a view to help the student build a practical competence in the language.
