	Overview
	The objective is to advance and consolidate further the student's command of Latin and his/her ability to read with understanding and insight. In this module, students who have acquired a good working knowledge of Latin will apply their skills to the guided reading and translation of unadapted and unseen passages of prose and verse.

	Learning Outcomes
	On successful completion of the module, students should be able to: Demonstrate a full grasp of Latin morphology, grammar and syntax. Recognise the necessary vocabulary for reading unseen Latin. Demonstrate the skills of analysis and synthesis inherent in reading unseen Latin. Display the ability to read seen/unseen Latin from a variety of authors.
