Leanfaidh mic léinn an chúrsa seo Siollabas Theastas Eorpach na Gaeilge Meanleibhéal 1 (B1). Is é cuspóir an mhodúil seo ná go gcuirfear le cumas tuisceana an mhic léinn agus go mbeidh ar a c(h)umas comhrá a dhéanamh mar gheall ar an saol laethúil agus mar gheall ar rudaí¬ a bhaineann leis/léi go pearsanta. Déanfar tógáil ar chumas gramadaí an mhic léinn chomh maith. Díreofar ar fhorbairt scileanna cluastuisceana, cainte, léitheoireachta agus scríbhneoireachta Gaeilge an mhic léinn.
