Overview Overview
 

On completion of the Module, students will have:

- an overview of theories of the State in economic development;
- an understanding of how Globalisation impacts on State and their traditional role in the development process;
- an appreciation for the role the Civil society sector plays in national and supranational development debates,
- an understanding of the factors which affect the power and influence of NGOs in the Development policy and practice, using a case study from Tanzania.
