Courses / Module

• Students will, working in conjunction with their supervisor, learn how to prepare a class for an undergraduate audience.
• Students will acquire the experience of employing visual and other aids to put their point across to an undergraduate audience.
• Students will gain experience of teaching an undergraduate class.
• Students will acquire the experience of fielding and answering questions from an unspecialised audience.

• Continuous Assessment detail(s): Assessment will be carried out by the doctoral supervisor in consultation with the Head of Department and/or the Coordinator of the PhD programme.

• The module will be assigned a final grade on the basis of Did Not Complete (-40%), Pass (40%-70%) and Distinction (70+%)
