This module deals with approaches to writing and interpreting history, from a number of distinct but often complementary perspectives. The overall aim is to give students undertaking a taught postgraduate programme in history a broad understanding of the different ways in which historical evidence is created and transmitted, the skills employed in the interpretation of that evidence, and how it is presented to the public. |
