Workshop based presentations delivered by national and international experts will illustrate issues and methodological challenges associated with undertaking research. Presentations will place emphasis on detailing specific methods, issues encountered and outlining decisions made to overcome these challenges, rather than just on research outcomes.
Module Objectives: Upon completion of this module students will have developed knowledge of different theoretical approaches to selected themes and, most importantly, will have developed their ability to read and think critically about fundamental concepts and texts in geography and be able to use these improved skills in the context of their own research.
