This course will encourage students to engage with key historical events and developments in Germany from 1914 to 1945, in part through the medium of German. It will cover such topics as the First World War, the Weimar period, Hitler's rise to power, the persecution of the Jews, and the Second World War. Students will also practice describing pictures, images and events in German.
