This module provides with an understanding of the key empirical and econometric techniques used by researchers within the field of financial economics. Students will be given a range of tools to undertake empirical analysis of financial markets, such as equity markets, foreign exchange markets and fixed-income markets. These techniques will be covered early in the semester and students are then required to submit a number of empirical projects to display knowledge of the techniques covered. |
