This course introduces students to fixed income securities (bond instruments). It looks at the valuation and properties of fixed income securities as well as the trading strategies pursued by market participants. This course also illustrates some of the uses of Excel for bond markets. Topics covered include bond’s price volatility, bond returns, term structure of interest rates and immunization strategies. |
