This course describes the structure and performance of financial markets including the markets for stocks, government and corporate bonds, derivatives securities, and foreign exchange and the financial institutions including commercial banks, investment firms and brokerages. The course also considers the regulation of the financial markets and institutions and risk management of the financial sector. |
