The module aims to develop key communication skills for postgraduate students whereby the student will learn how to interact and communicate academic subject matter effectively with the public. The supervisor will arrange for the student to visit schools or other community organizations and deliver prepared talks on relevant academic subjects. Along with the practical experience, the student will become familiar with elements of communication theory, through a reading list prepared in conjunction with the supervisor, workshops, modules, or other learning opportunities.
