	Overview
	This module aims to provide the student with an initial understanding of working with stories in a Dramatherapy training setting. It also aims to provide the student with the experience of participating in an experiential Dramatherapy teaching and training group-process working with stories on a creative expressive level in order to prepare the students for their first clinical Dramatherapy placement during the training. The module will also provide the students with basic practical Dramatherapy skills, an initial opportunity to engage with the theory of Dramatherapy as one of the Arts Therapies and a forum to make connections to Dramatherapy practice.

	Learning Outcomes
	On successful completion of the module, students should be able to: Engage with ethical considerations for the practice of Dramatherapy Set up their first clinical placement Conduct client assessments Conduct their first creative expressive Dramatherapy group as a trainee Dramatherapist Record, reflect and analyse their clinical placement experience and the learning therein through the writing of a clinical report which brings together theory, practice, ethical considerations and personal experience of Dramatherapy.
