• The students will apply research skills acquired in the MA to independent research. On completion of the mini-dissertation, they will have demonstrated competence in research methods and a capacity to produce original work based on independent study.

• Independent research under supervision of departmental supervisor.

• Module Graded (numeric value) or Ungraded (Pass/Not Passed): Graded

• Pass standard: 40%
• Could the result of this module be capped? No
• Penalties: (for late submission of Course/Project Work Etc) 4 marks for each week.

• Are supplemental/resit registrations permitted? No
