	Learning Outcomes
	On successful completion of the module, students should be able to: Choose an appropriate numerical method to solve a particular problem. Quantify the strengths and weakness of a range of algorithms. Program several numeric algorithms. Reduce the errors which can occur when performing numeric calculations.

	Autumn Supplementals/Resits
	Are supplemental/resit registrations permitted? Yes 1 x 2 hour written examination (Autumn). The continuous assessment mark is carried forward as there is no facility for repeating the continuous assessment elements of the course. University scheduled written examination (Autumn): 120 minutes, On-campus
