To introduce students to a selection of fundamental of aspects of electronic
engineering, including:
* The Professional role of an Engineer
* An introduction to the basic components and their characteristics
• Ohm’s Law
• Basic RC Filters
• Basic circuit analysis
• Basic digital electronics
• An introduction to test and measurement equipment.
* An introduction to the Arduino microcontroller platform.

* The Engineering Profession, Self study.
* Electronic Components and Basic Circuits - Passive components identification and characteristics;
• Basic Test and Measurement equipment
• Ohm’s Law and basic filters
• Potential Dividers
• RC Filters
